Sarum St Michael Educational Charity, 1st Floor, 27A Castle Street, Salisbury SP1 1TT
The Sarum St Michael Educational Charity is a trust formed from the assets of an Anglican college of education that closed in Salisbury in 1979.
Our aim is to advance the work in education originally done by the college. We make grants to individuals ineligible for student loans to help them pursue their further education.
We offer bursaries to intended teachers of Religious Education. We help schools pay for resources for teaching RE, and parishes pay for books and equipment for Sunday schools, youth clubs and the like.
Grants are made within a wide geographical area consisting of the Diocese of Salisbury and all of the adjacent dioceses, except that schools and parishes must be based in the Diocese of Salisbury.
