We’ve been delighted at the success of Understanding Humanism since its launch in 2016, and the positive feedback it has received. But we wanted to make it even better. Following conversations with teachers, we’ve organised the resources for ages 5-18 into several core areas of knowledge to support young people’s understanding of a humanist approach to life. The resources include information sheets, presentations, activities, films, assessment ideas, and humanist perspectives on a wide range of questions and topics, supported by How To and Core Knowledge guides to help teachers navigate the site and plan their content.
We hope that teachers and students will find the new resources engaging and useful. Thank you for your help in spreading the word to teachers and other educators, which is very much appreciated.
