The REsilience programme, a government-funded project managed by the RE Council, was rolled out in schools across England and Wales in 2011.

The aims of REsilience are to:

  • increase confidence in addressing contentious issues, particularly those sometimes linked with violent extremism
  • provide continuous professional development opportunities for all teachers of RE
  • encourage reflective practice

All REsilience documents can be found on and downloaded from the REsilience webpage.
